KICK OFF: 26 Days of March of Dimes

Today, I am kicking of 26 day of march of Dimes as we lead up to the 2013 Stillwater March for Babies.  (The banner says 24 days - we OBVIOUSLY have different ways of counting!)  Each day, I will be posting about what the March of Dimes has done over the past 75 years to help babies - ALL BABIES (not just the sick and premature ones!) - thrive and survive in our country.  The Six Dream Weavers believe passionately in the mission  of this organization, and frankly, we would still be Five Dream Weavers if not for the research and programs supported by this amazing organization.

When you walk in March for Babies, you give hope to the more than half a million babies born too soon each year. The money you raise supports programs in our community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten our babies. We’ve been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $2 billion to benefit all babies.

CELEBRATING 75 YEARS
This year, more than 7 million people will join their family, friends and colleagues in 900 communities across the nation. You can expect the event to be fun, compelling and rewarding. 

As you can see from the opening picture, Team Finn's Fans is well on their way to meeting their HUGE goal of $1,575 for babies.  We are over half way there!  But, we have a LONG way to go, and a short time to get there!  Here's how you can help:
