October 5-7, 2018
Man! It is so hard to believe it is OCTOBER of the girls' junior year already. But, the calendar says it is, so it must be so. This weekend was pretty calm, but we did get to squeeze in some family time with Finn's 7th birthday party. More on that in a bit...
Friday Night Light for the Stillwater Pioneers took us to Choctaw for a fight with some yellow-jackets. We came away victorious, but it was more of a battle than they anticipated. Add to that, is was probably the slowest moving football game in high school history. Kick off was 7pm, and it was close to 10:00 before we left the stadium for the long drive back to Stillwater.
Saturday morning we got up bright and early to go to the local gym (Youth Fitness Zone) for Finn's 7th birthday party. He invited a few friends, and there were several middle school kids there as well, and a good time was had by all. So glad Emma and Lara both got to be there - we all know those days are few and far between...
Lara got to go to the OSU vs. Iowa State football game in Stillwater with her friend Erika. OSU lost, BAD, and she came home to build Legos with her brothers - Finn got lots of new ones for his birthday.
Sunday was for resting, catching up, and then our usual being routine: church, dinner, family meeting, bed!
Another weekend marked off the calendar... *sigh*
