"I wonder what it would be like to live in a world where it was always June." - L. M. Montgomery June was PRECIOUS. It was slightly (only slightly) slower, and it was so fun to watch everyone hit their summer stride. Jake and Finn are having the most fun learning songs on the guitar and piano (and a bit of harmonica), and they have spent several evenings on the back porch strumming and singing. And piano songs uploaded to TikTok. They both have also spent a ton of time soaking up summer with friends, hangouts, and fun events. They stay up late and sleep in when they can. Jake is also working at Hibbett's and going to basketball workouts and runs. It was a sweet month. Lots of family time, songs, games (board and card), rough moments, and sweet moments. Church, meals, and work are thrown in there as well. This is a summer I want to bottle up and keep close!
Emma and Parker have been doing all kinds of fun things this summer as well, and Lara is gearing up for her move later this summer. These are sweet times.
Hard to believe we are basically halfway through the summer! Here's to more memories, more sun and fun, and more family time. Summers are fleeting, and I want to remember every moment!

THERE ARE NO PHOTOS! I did attend the funeral of my best friend from childhood (Jami Crummett Pittman)'s father - Dan Crummett. My folks were there, as were a lot of people from my days at the FBC Stillwater youth group. Mom and Dad took me to lunch at Mexico Joe's afterwards. Memories!
I also (photo evidence found) went to a new book club in Edmond. I knew no one! But it was super fun and a great, lively group. I think I'll keep going!
